Emotion Commotion
Am I the only one who has emotion commotion? Seriously...is it just me, or do any of you wake up feeling like this
...
And then your emotions change ever so slightly because you get that perfect cup of caffeinated java...

But on your way to work, some freak slams on the breaks, you slam on yours, your coffee spills on you, your cellphone call is dropped, & the entire contents of your purse spills onto the floor...
You arrive to work. An urgent, mandatory meeting is called at the same time the school calls to tell you that your kid puked all over his teacher, at the same time you are trying to get coffee stains out of your white shirt with a Tide Eraser pen, at the same time your mom calls to tell you about the cornucopia cross-stitching piece she just finished...
As the day continues (cause days don't stop for emotion commotion), you find yourself in a state of agitation, frustration, indigestion, irritation, and constipation...
Ah, yes. Its the emotion commotion. I'm sure it never happens to you. But once-n-awhile it happens to me. And you know what the best thing is?
With a God who is fully capable of getting me through every day, no matter what commotion enters it.

Hi Heather!
I totally agree with you! Ah, yes "Emotion Commotion"
we all experience... to these days, but depends on how we handle it! For instance,I cry..and get descourage so easy sometimes but,I pray that God is the only one capable of getting me trough no matter what day will be!This verse is so powerful to me and I always believe in Matthew 17:20

We can all relate...
So nice to have an understanding God. Lucky for us, He's always loving on us, no matter what mood we're in.
Great pics!!!
Been there, done that, can write a novel about it...is it bad that it happens frequently??? HA! ;)

About E.Commotion.....all I can say is it stinks. And as priorly stated..its all according on how you handle it. Still learning! As of today....I despise Comcast technicians. I'm still applying 'kill them w/kindness!!

OMG that was awesome... i am going through a girlie emotion commotion..yuck..hate it...you are so creative...this was great
Your personality shines through your blog. I had a horrible day yesterday. Prayed and read my bible ALOT last night that God would help me to handle situations better and I prayed to help me stay on my path I've chosen. Well, this morning when my english muffin with peanut butter fell off my cup and landed on the pavement when I was opening my car door, I said a few not so Christian words. I laughed out loud to God saying "Ok, I failed my first test of the day, I promise to do better". I get to work to pour my coffee and BAM, my cup falls off the counter and smashes on the floor. I smiled, picked it up and threw the millions of pieces away and grabbed someone else's cup. It was a great feeling not to engage into that emotional commotion at that moment. I'm sure that there will be more, but that one felt good.
GO HEATHER!!!!!!

Heather,
This has been me all month. When I cross these kind of rediculous challenges, I always of think of those plastic bracelets... "What would Jesus Do?" In this case, I ask myself, "What would Heather do? Especially dealing with the kids. Somehow, you flip it around into a an episode of "I Love Lucy." Somehow, you come out of the episodes laughing instead of crying. How do you do It???
Love,
Lisa
